About this pack

This is the commercial-licence edition of Grunge + Stencil Imperfection VOL 06. The archive is the one the standard release ships — same maps, same resolution, same formats — and what the higher price buys is the permission: paid client and studio work, installation across a team rather than a single seat, and redistribution of the baked or rendered result inside something you sell.

In the archive

  • Tileable multipurpose imperfection maps for any surface
  • 4K PNG throughout
  • A preview image for every map
  • Captured from real surfaces rather than generated procedurally

There are two ways these earn their place in a material. The first is as stencils: project one onto a mesh in Substance Painter, mask a layer with it, and the dirt, the wear or the streaking lands where you put it rather than where a generator decides. The second is in the roughness channel, where a tileable imperfection map does more for realism than almost any other single input — it is the reason a surface looks touched rather than manufactured.

One thing to check before you start: the maps are authored for the metal/roughness workflow. If your pipeline is spec/gloss you need to invert them, otherwise the polished areas and the worn areas swap places.

The permission does not expire and there is nothing to report back. One payment covers every project the maps are used on, which is the difference worth paying for when the work is being invoiced. Built with Mirage3Dart and Milad Kambari.

About Alphas & Brushes

These sets are the finishing detail that decides whether an asset reads as real. The alphas are rendered from actual geometry rather than traced from photos, so edges stay crisp under projection and the height data holds up when you push it into a normal map.

Brush presets are included for both Substance Painter and ZBrush, with spacing and falloff already dialled in.
