About this pack

Ruffles are among the slowest garments to build from nothing. The folds have to read as fabric from every angle, and getting there in Marvelous Designer means drawing a pattern, running a simulation and then tuning both for an hour before the silhouette is even close. VOL 22 hands you fifteen of them finished: drape one over a character, cut sections out for kitbashing, or open the project and re-simulate against your own avatar and fabric preset.

Inside the download

  • 15 ruffle models as FBX and OBJ
  • Unwelded thin and thick versions of each model
  • 15 Marvelous Designer project files
  • A clean garment arrangement inside every project
  • A preview render for all fifteen

The project files are what separate this from a static mesh library. Each pattern arrives laid out and arranged rather than dumped into the 2D window, so raising the particle distance, swapping the fabric preset or scaling a panel and re-simulating gives you a ruffle that is yours rather than one fifteen other artists also bought.

Thin and thick both ship because ruffles get used two ways downstream. The thin mesh is the one to hand to a cloth solve or to subdivide under a sculpt, where a shell would only fight the solver. The thick mesh already carries the depth a real-time piece needs before it goes to UVs and a bake. Both are unwelded, so a single frill can be pulled off a garment and reused without unpicking a weld first.

Marmoset and Substance Painter are where the studio finishes these, and the geometry arrives in the state those two expect: closed, evenly tessellated and free of the stray internal faces a raw simulation leaves behind. Textures are not part of the download — what you buy is the geometry, the patterns and the previews.

Every purchase includes free lifetime updates and a no-questions-asked 7 day money back guarantee.

About Base Meshes

A base mesh exists to delete the boring part of the job. Everything in this aisle is at real-world scale with quad-dominant topology, sensible edge flow and no ngons where they would cause shading errors — ready to sculpt over, kitbash from, or take straight to UVs.
