About this pack

Twenty Asian gate meshes, for the thresholds a level uses to do structural work. A gate frames the view behind it, tells the player where the path continues, and fixes the setting in a place and a period before any dialogue does — which is why it is worth owning twenty of them instead of reusing one across a whole map.

Both detail levels are in the archive. The highpoly carries the joinery and the carved work; the lowpoly is what goes into the engine and what the highpoly bakes down onto.

What you get

  • 20 Asian gate meshes
  • FBX carrying embedded materials
  • Blender (.blend) files with the material slots assigned
  • A highpoly and a lowpoly for every gate
  • A preview render of each gate
  • JPG renders for all models, excluding the poster's presentation renders

Textures are not included, and on this subject that is usually right: one silhouette has to serve a lacquered shrine entrance, a weathered village gate and a temple ruin, and those are three material treatments over one mesh rather than three models. Opening the Blender file gives you somewhere to put your own maps immediately, and the embedded materials on the FBX do the same job in Unreal, Unity, Maya or 3ds Max. The JPG renders are worth keeping to hand as a contact sheet, because twenty gates is past the point where a file name tells you which one you are looking at.

Twenty is enough to keep a district from repeating itself and enough to build a route out of — something small and roadside where a path begins, something monumental where it arrives.

Every purchase includes free lifetime updates and a no-questions-asked 7 day money back guarantee.

About Game Assets

This aisle is production work, not a demo. The meshes are optimised for real-time budgets, the UVs are packed with proper padding, and the texture sets are 4K PBR with consistent naming so a whole folder can be imported at once.

Tested in Unreal Engine and Unity. Scale, pivots and orientation are all correct on import.
