About this pack

Thirty-eight Chinese relief carvings — koi, dragons, foo dogs, Buddha panels and the temple ornament around them — each supplied as a 4K alpha brush and as the highpoly mesh it was baked from. The pack is for anyone building Chinese or wider Asian architecture who needs a surface to be carved rather than textured.

What ships

  • 38 relief designs, alpha and mesh for every one
  • Alpha brushes at 4K, detailed enough to sculpt against
  • ZBrush-compatible brushes for direct sculpting
  • OBJ meshes, game-ready for real-time engines
  • Blender files with materials assigned
  • TIF files, so an alpha can be edited before it is stamped
  • Highpoly sculpts carrying rich surface information
  • PNG renders of every model, apart from the presentation posters

The designs cover twin koi fish carvings, Chinese dragon medallions, Buddha relief sculptures, foo dog guardian carvings, immortal sage figures, demon mask reliefs, lotus pond scenes, mythological warrior reliefs, ancestral throne carvings, sacred Chinese symbols and ornate temple panels.

In a real environment build these tend to be layered rather than placed one at a time. A temple wall takes a large panel as a height stamp, the frieze above it takes a run of smaller symbols, and the TIF gives you a way to crop or mirror a motif so a repeated element never lands twice in the same reading. Where a piece has to be freestanding — a guardian at a doorway, a medallion on a gate — the OBJ goes in as geometry and the Blender file saves the material setup.

The whole set is sculpted rather than generated, and that is what the 4K alphas are carrying: chisel direction, undercut and wear that a procedural pattern does not have.

Every purchase includes free lifetime updates and a no-questions-asked 7 day money back guarantee.

About Alphas & Brushes

These sets are the finishing detail that decides whether an asset reads as real. The alphas are rendered from actual geometry rather than traced from photos, so edges stay crisp under projection and the height data holds up when you push it into a normal map.

Brush presets are included for both Substance Painter and ZBrush, with spacing and falloff already dialled in.
