About this pack

Mesoamerican stone carving has a grammar of its own — square-shouldered glyph blocks, profile faces, feathered serpents, deep flat-bottomed cuts — and generic ancient alphas will not produce it. This pack is 40 Maya and Aztec reliefs sculpted for that look specifically, delivered as 4K alpha brushes and as highpoly 3D meshes, so a carving can be stamped onto a wall or placed as real geometry depending on how close the camera gets.

In the download

  • 40 Maya relief brushes, each with a matching 3D mesh
  • 4K alpha brushes
  • Highpoly sculpts with the full carved detail
  • ZBrush brushes for sculpting straight onto a surface
  • Blender files with materials assigned
  • OBJ versions of every mesh
  • TIF files for editing and customising
  • Game-ready meshes for real-time engines
  • A PNG render of each model, excluding the presentation renders shown on the poster

Formats: TIF, Blender, OBJ, ZBrush and 4K alpha brush.

Designs

Maya warrior face carvings, Aztec calendar reliefs, feathered serpent symbols, Quetzalcoatl ornaments, jaguar warrior reliefs, turtle Mesoamerican glyphs, eagle warrior carvings, ceremonial mask reliefs, ancient stone totem patterns, geometric pre-Columbian designs and hieroglyphic stone panels.

Using them in a scene

Pyramid and temple work is built out of repeated blocks, which is where the alphas earn their place: stamp a glyph row along a stair riser or a terrace face, rotate every second copy, and a whole wall reads as inscribed without a single extra triangle. Keep the meshes for the pieces a player walks up to — a stela, a doorway jamb, a serpent head at the foot of a staircase — where the profile is doing the work.

They also age well. Run an edge-wear generator over a stamped relief and the raised glyph faces catch the wear first, exactly as they do on weathered limestone, which is usually all a Maya ruin needs to stop looking freshly cut.

Every purchase includes free lifetime updates and a no-questions-asked 7 day money back guarantee.

About Alphas & Brushes

These sets are the finishing detail that decides whether an asset reads as real. The alphas are rendered from actual geometry rather than traced from photos, so edges stay crisp under projection and the height data holds up when you push it into a normal map.

Brush presets are included for both Substance Painter and ZBrush, with spacing and falloff already dialled in.
