About this pack

Radial ornament sits at the centre of a ceiling, above a doorway or in the middle of a panel, and it is the hardest kind of decoration to fake, because the eye finds a broken rotation immediately. These are 46 of them, sculpted in highpoly and delivered both as 4K alpha brushes and as meshes: baroque floral ceiling medallions, ornamental scroll frames, Victorian rosettes, Greek key patterns, plaster ceiling roses, Renaissance scrollwork, mandala-style panels, gothic radial frames and rococo medallions.

How they get used

An interior artist normally reaches for the alphas first. A ceiling rose stamped as height onto a flat plane costs nothing and holds up under any light rig, and the TIF masters make it easy to soften the depth or take a ring out of the pattern before stamping. Architecture the camera passes underneath wants the meshes instead — a medallion with real thickness catches a rim light in a way a painted one cannot.

Because the ornaments are radial, they also work as more than one pattern each: rotate a copy by a fraction of a turn, or mask back to the inner rings, and you have a second medallion that still reads as the same building's plasterwork. That is what makes 46 enough to dress a palace ceiling, a theatre foyer, a fantasy temple and a Victorian townhouse from one download without any of the rooms repeating.

About Alphas & Brushes

These sets are the finishing detail that decides whether an asset reads as real. The alphas are rendered from actual geometry rather than traced from photos, so edges stay crisp under projection and the height data holds up when you push it into a normal map.

Brush presets are included for both Substance Painter and ZBrush, with spacing and falloff already dialled in.
