Tutorial Contents

Modelling

+16 hours of the modelling process in 3ds max. Everything is clear, and you can follow up quickly on the modelling process. First, we prepare a proxy mesh from reference, and after that, we will go for the details. In this tutorial, we try to create and use a mid-poly version of Vtol.

Unwrapping & Texturing

+ 20 hours of unwrapping in Rizom UV and Texturing in Substance painter and Photoshop.

For Vtol, we try a different workflow for texturing due to the big size and complex shape. Using Mask workflow with special our Master Material in Unreal Engine gives us a flexible and clean result for this project. we use different techniques, Mask workflow, Colour Decal, Baked normal, and so on.

Rendering

+ 3 Hours of Preparing and Rendering the Vtol in the unreal engine. In this chapter, we prepare models as a blueprint actor, setup materials with basic materials, and Mask master material. we use a very efficient and easy method of lighting.
